Who I am

Trusted Equity Release is a trading name of Pellucid Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 07174383) with its registered office at 30 Old Market, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire PE13 1NB. Pellucid Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 981845).

Pellucid Ltd is the controller of your personal information. In this notice, "I" and "me" mean Jeremy Furnell and Pellucid Ltd. Pellucid Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZA535567.

What I collect

• When you use a form on this website: your name, the contact details you give me (phone number, email address, postcode or postal address), your message and, if you ask for a call back after using the calculator, the figures you entered.
• If you accept analytics cookies: information about how you use this website, such as the pages you visit, collected by Google Analytics.
• When we speak or meet: the information you share about your home, your finances, your family and your plans.
• If you become a client: the details lenders and solicitors need, such as proof of identity and address, information about your property, income and outgoings, and sometimes information about your health where it affects the plans available to you.

How I use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a call or a meeting, or send you the brochure you asked for.
• To give you advice and, if you decide to go ahead, to arrange your plan with the lender and your solicitor.
• To meet my legal and regulatory duties, including keeping the records the Financial Conduct Authority requires and carrying out anti-money laundering checks.

I will not use your details for marketing, and I never sell or rent them to anyone.

My lawful reasons

• Taking steps you have asked for before we enter into an agreement, such as answering your enquiry.
• Carrying out my agreement with you once you become a client.
• Complying with the law and with regulation.
• My legitimate interest in running my business properly, for example keeping a record of our conversations.

Information about your health is treated as a special category under data protection law. Where your health affects the plans available to you, I will ask whether you are happy for me to put a few medical questions to you, and I will only record your answers with your explicit consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Who I share it with

Only when it is needed for the reasons above:

• Lenders and product providers you choose to apply to, and the solicitors involved.
• Paradigm, my compliance support provider, which reviews my advice files.
• The companies that run this website and my email: Cloudflare hosts the website and delivers the messages sent through its forms, and Microsoft provides my email.
• Google, which provides Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies.
• The Financial Conduct Authority, the Financial Ombudsman Service or other authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these companies may process information outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long I keep it

If an enquiry does not go any further, I delete your details after three months. If you become a client, I keep your file for as long as you are a client and for at least seven years after that, which meets the Financial Conduct Authority's record-keeping rules.

Your rights

You can ask me to:

• give you a copy of the information I hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• delete your information, where I do not need to keep it
• restrict or object to how I use it
• send it to you or to another organisation in a format you can reuse

Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. I will reply within one month, and there is no charge.

Please tell me first and I will do my best to put things right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
